Recently I was complaining and whining to the Lord about something when I heard the Holy Spirit say, “I want to unveil my supernatural abundance in every area of your life.” And I was like, “Lord, bring it on. What’s stopping you?” And God then reminded me of my prayer closet, which was overwhelmed by ministerial activities.
Beloved, I want to share with you what God convicted me of.
Before He takes you to a new realm of success in the natural, God wants to ensure that your prayer closet is secure. That means maintain the discipline of spending time alone with Jesus, no matter how busy your day looks like. It means talking to God more than talking to men during your day.
Run to HIM, talk to HIM, NOW!!!
If you are not consistent and faithful in it with the little that you manage now, how will you ever maintain it when you have more to oversee? And, eventually your prayer closet has to move from being a discipline to being a delight.
Guard your prayer closet ferociously because that’s what the devil is after. He knows that if he can choke your time with God, then sooner or later you will be running life on your own steam and that’s dangerous! That’s what happened with many men of God who start off well, but somewhere down the line, they started neglecting their prayer closet and that led to their downfall. On the other hand, there are men of God who live as if their life depends on it, and it really does, and what a mighty blow they are to the kingdom of darkness.
At any cost, guard your prayer closet. The time is now!
