Do you know What God has already credited in your life? In today's episode Pastor Derrick Dsouza is giving us insights about 3 rules to receive God's credit in our life.

The ‘credit’ ($) that the world gives comes with an installment amount, interest charges and lot of hidden charges attached.

But God’s kind of credit is different.

It is written “Abraham believed God (His promise) and it was credited to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6).

Praise Jesus for the ‘Righteousness’ that gets credited by the simple faith in Him.  You can’t buy it, you don’t deserve it and you definitely cannot ever earn it. The words ” it was credited to him” (Abraham) were not written for Abraham alone, but for all of us who believe in God’s promises.

If you are struggling in any area of your life, I would encourage you to believe God’s promise and it will be credited (given) to you without having to work for it. It’s that simple!!

Let me explain. When I was single and was looking for a partner, I began to search the scriptures on how God bought and united people in the covenant of marriage (Adam/ Eve, Isaac/Rachel, etc). I was convinced that marriage was a ‘Good thing’ and that you received favour with this covenant (read Proverbs 18:22). I had also known from my favourite psalm 34:10 that “those who seek the lord lacked no good thing”. With these scriptures in hand, I started to thank God that He was the one responsible to bring my wife (that good thing) in my life as I continued to seek him. And it was only a matter of time before God brought my beautiful wife into my life and we now serve the Lord together.

2 Peter 1:4 says that “He has given us his great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in this world”. Wow! what a life-full of God’s promises to believe for!!!

Here are rules to start getting God’s promises credited in your life:

Rule # 1: You must be seeking God regardless of whatever you are believing Him for! (This is a good indicator of the condition of your heart) Remember it’s only those who seek God who lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10).

Rule # 2: Search the promises in the Bible that relate to your problem or situation etc and meditate and acknowledge that the promise has already been purchased and provided by Jesus.

Rule # 3: Step out in faith after believing God’s word and act on it by thanking God for the credit of the promise every day till  it manifests in your life.

Go ahead and enjoy God’s kind of credit!
