Pursue Him
Pursue Him
Are You Suffering From Inferiority Complex?
Do you compare yourself with the physical appearances of the people of this world and then feel bad that you don’t look like them? Stop today! You are beautifully and wonderfully made!
Here is what you will hear the worldly people (who don’t have Jesus) say about themselves: I am rich. I have grown wealthy and need nothing (Rev 3:17)
But here is what Jesus says about them: You do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked (Rev 3:17)
So what counsel Jesus gives to those who are “admired” by this world?
Jesus says, Buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see (Rev 3:18).
On the other hand, what do you have as a child of God?
Gold refined by fire for riches: God promises to transform you and make you rich through the power of His unfailing Word.
White garments for clothing: To cover you and make you without spot, wrinkle and blemish.
Anointed Eyes: Eyes that are anointed with an ointment that heals and protects you from this world and its lusts.
So let me ask you: Are you still comparing yourself to the people of this world?
Are you still feeling you are not beautiful, your skin is dark and flawed, your hair is not right, your eyes are not the right colour, you are not rich?
Think again and re-read how God sees the people of this world whom you compare yourself to or may aspire to be like.
Child of God why do you day- after- day compare yourself with the physical appearances of the people of this world and then feel bad that you don’t look like them?
Look how they actually look in the “spiritual realm” through the mirror of the Word of God. They are actually wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked and exposed.
Stop evaluating beauty in the physical and look through your spiritual eyes and see the beauty that God has covered you with. You will see that you are seated high above, beautifully adorned, clothed in righteousness and loved by the King Himself.
May the lie of the enemy be broken in your life and may you be set free into the glorious liberation of the Sons of God.
May you never feel upset or condemned by the words that people have said to you about your looks in the physical realm because Jesus sees you beautiful!
You are beautifully and wonderfully made!
